Version 5.0 Now Available!
Click on the links below to download Episode Engine / Episode Engine Pro and Episode/Episode Pro desktop client. You will need the license.xml file that was emailed to you with the download instructions, in order to use Episode Engine or Episode Engine Pro.
Please refer to the Manuals and QuickStart Guides to the right for information on downloading and installing your Episode Engine software.
Minimum System Requirements:
Intel based Mac or Apple PowerPC G5 (no longer supports G4)
Mac OS X 10.4 or higher
QuickTime 7 or higher
Minimum 1 GB RAM
20 GB HD
Note: Episode Engine customers must have a new license and a current maintenance agreement in place before upgrading to Episode version 5.
If you only have the desktop version of Episode or Episode Pro, you do not need a new license.

Getting Started with Episode Engine

After downloading the files:

Install
Install Episode Engine by double clicking the ”Episode Engine.pkg” in the disc image
Read the Installation information and the License Agreement and click continue
Choose a destination where you wish to install Episode Engine or keep the default destination
Name the Engine user and group (you need to create a separate user for the Engine to protect your other user accounts). We recommend you use the default settings.
Select the standalone option and finish your basic installation
Enter the trial license
Unzip the license file that was emailed with the download instruction. Save the license.xml file somewhere on your computer.
In System Preferences, choose Episode Engine
Select the license tab and drag the Episode Engine license file, license.xml into the license area
Select the Admin under the System tab and set the Admin password
Start Episode Engine by clicking the Start button at the top
Drag the Engine Admin application to your Applications folder
