How to upgrade to ScreenFlow 3 from version 2.x or 1.x
VERSION 2.X and 1.X CUSTOMERS: Version 3 is a $29 paid upgrade from version 2.x and a $49 paid upgrade from version 1.x, and will require a new serial number. If you install version 3 without purchasing a new serial number, your saved ScreenFlow projects will contain a watermark.
Version 3.X CUSTOMERS: Version 3.0.3 is a FREE update and will not require a purchase.
Please note: if you purchased ScreenFlow 2.x between March 15, 2011 and August 10, 2011 you are eligible for a free upgrade to version 3. If you did not receive your free coupon via email, please contact support and we'll send it to you.
- Open ScreenFlow and from the ScreenFlow pull down menu, select "check for updates"
- Click the "Install Update" button in the bottom right corner of the Software Update window to update
ScreenFlow to version 3..
NOTE: ScreenFlow 3 will not overwrite your existing ScreenFlow application, but will
install it as a separate application and will function in demo mode until you pay the upgrade fee.
If you do not want to pay the fee to upgrade from version 2.x or 1.x to version 3, make sure the
"Automatically download and install updates in the future" check box is unchecked and click the
"Skip This Version" button.
- Launch ScreenFlow 3, select Purchase > Unlock ScreenFlow.

Click the lock icon, enter an administrator name and
password to make changes to the upgrade
settings, then
click Upgrade License.
- You will now be taken to our secure online store. Click the "Add to Cart" button and complete the
information requested and hit submit.
ScreenFlow Store for 2.x customers ($29 upgrade):
ScreenFlow Store for 1.x customers ($49 upgrade):
- Once your order is complete, close your receipt window and your new serial number will automatically
be copied to your application and you’ll have access to all the new features. You will also receive an
order confirmation with your serial number for future reference.
