How to Upgrade from Wirecast 3 to Wirecast 4

The upgrade fee from Wirecast 3 to Wirecast 4 is FREE. Simply follow the instructions below to upgrade:

Please note: If your current Wirecast 3.x serial # does not begin with either “VMWC” or “VWWC”, please contact Telestream Desktop Support before upgrading to Wirecast Pro.  

1. Launch Wirecast.
2. From the File menu on Windows or the Wirecast menu on Mac, select Preferences > Software Update >
   Check Now. You will be directed to a software update page.
3. Download and install Wirecast 4.

Upgrade to Wirecast Pro

Upgrade from Wirecast to Wirecast Pro for $546.

When you need more advanced features, Wirecast Pro adds:

• Professional-looking 3D virtual sets
• Enhanced audio controls with sync delay
• Integrated scoreboards for live sports broadcasts
• Additional source support for IP cameras and Telestream Pipeline video capture devices
• Input support for HDV cameras ($99 value)

To upgrade to Wirecast Pro, you must first upgrade to Wirecast 4, then follow the instructions below to upgrade to the Pro version:

1. Launch Wirecast 4.
2. From the File menu on Windows or the Wirecast menu on Mac, select Preferences > Register > + >
   Purchase. You will be directed to our online store.
