Telestream Corporate, Social, and Responsibility (CSR) Statement

At Telestream, we are committed to enabling and enhancing a brighter future for our people, the communities in which we work, and the planet. We aim to deliver sustainable solutions which positively impact the world in which we live by:

  • Developing software that can be implemented in the cloud, on-premises or in hybrid models, allowing our customer’s to implement their media workflows on the most efficient infrastructure.
  • Designing hardware solutions that embrace the latest generations of computing technology while also ensuring our software maximizes the underlying computing power of the hardware solutions, both allowing our customers to optimize the footprint of hardware required to perform their media processing thereby reducing energy consumption and ultimate electronic waste.
  • Sourcing and designing recyclable hardware and packaging materials.
  • Reducing our own environmental impact across our internal infrastructure by sourcing recycled materials, transitioning to an increasingly paperless work environment, and shifting an increasing amount of our infrastructure to more efficient, modern technologies.

  • Regular cybersecurity training for all of our employees and contractors to ensure we protect our business, our customers and our partners.

In adhering to our commitment to the planet and sound corporate governance, we ensure our products and the suppliers with which we work align with our CSR objectives along with our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) criteria. We also ensure our team members that deal with product development and supply chain decisions are aware of and trained on the below objectives. This includes the following:

Our Products:

Telestream is committed to meeting all applicable regulatory requirements in each geography where our products are marketed and sold. In addition to country-specific compliance, throughout the development cycle, we ensure Telestream products adhere to RoHS (Directive on the Restriction of Hazardous Substances) and WEEE (Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment) initiatives. Telestream designs only with items that are compliant to the current RoHS requirements. Consistent with WEEE, all Telestream products are appropriately labeled for disposition after the useful life of the product. Where possible, all product packaging is designed be recycled and to be efficient in use while providing adequate protection to our products during transport.

Additionally, where applicable we maintain industry standard certifications and require such from our key partners. This includes ISO 9000 certification across certain of our sites and ensure our top suppliers maintain the highest industry standard certifications. We also have achieved and maintain SOC 2, Type 2 certification for our Telestream Cloud platform which ensures we have implemented and maintain effective controls from governance down to specific operating measures of our Telestream Cloud platform.

We choose partners that share our values and commitments to being responsible global citizens. Our expectations of our suppliers are documented in our Telestream Supplier Handbook as well as distributed to our supply base on an annual basis. As we expect of ourselves, we expect Telestream partners and suppliers to be compliant to Conflict Minerals, Workplace safety and conditions, Human Trafficking & Slavery, and Environmental and Quality policies and expectations.
