Creating and Closing Gaps in a Track
To create a gap in a track between existing clips, simply shift the clips to the left or right as necessary. You can also split a clip into two smaller clips: Position the scrubber over the moment where you want the split to occur, then press the T key. This splits the selected clip at the scrubber into two separate clips.
Now, you can shift the two new clips left and right as necessary to create the gap.
To close a gap in a track, click in the cap – ScreenFlow highlights the gap as blue with diagonal gray stripes. Press the Delete key, or control-click and select Close Gap.
