Select a clip and select Edit > Lock Clip to lock the clip on the timeline. This clip is dimmed and cannot be altered in any way, or moved. This is useful when you have a clip or clips placed exactly where you want and do not want to alter them. To unlock the clip, select it and then select Edit > Unlock Clip.Figure 24.
